Facebook Ads Keyword Research Tool

Since Facebook advertising has generated so much buzz during the past months, we figured it was about time someone put together a keyword tool that would help advertisers get the most from Facebook ads.

Today we're pleased to announce a brand new keyword tool specifically designed for Facebook advertising.

There are so many opportunities within Facebook for targeting groups of people with passionate interests.  Unfortunately, the interface they provide for doing keyword research is quite cumbersome, resulting in a lot of missed opportunities.

Fortunately, our new keyword tool addresses this issue head on by automating the keyword discovery process for Facebook ads.  We have no doubt this will become an important tool for small businesses, SEM firms and affiliate marketers who are looking to get the most from Facebook advertising.

To see our new Facebook keyword tool in action, check out the video below.  And feel free to leave feedback further down so we can continue to provide relevant tools that will help you with your online business.

Thanks,
Steve & Roxanne

  • Nice Steve,

When are you launching this bad boy

    • steve:

Thanks, Tim. It’s already live. Just restart CK Pro to get it (under Traffic Tools). Or sign up to access it. More tools are on the way soon!

  • This video was so helpful. Facebook is a tricky arena to advertise on, so this keyword tool is exactly what I need! Thank you!

  • You guys must never sleep!! Are you even from this universe? Great tool and it looks so user-friendly.

    Thanks

  • terrance:

I totally agree that SMBs, affiliates and anyone wanting to monetize facebooks ppc ads will be drooling after watching this. Will this be a topic of discussion with mr. Perry Marshall? Great tool!

  • Lovely.. you guys have outdone yourself… again…

  • A great addition to an already brilliant tool…Thanks!

  • Phenomenal! I’ve only been with CK for 3 days, couldn’t be happier to have landed here. Your product, work and style are inspirational – thank you!

Been looking for affiliate info. Is your affiliate program available yet?

    Beat

    • steve:

      Thanks, Beat – we’re happy that you’re happy. ;-)

Please contact us via our website for the affiliate program link. We have one but haven’t made it public yet since from our experience so many people sign up but never do anything. The more serious people often get to know our product first and then contact us about this, like you did, which is what we prefer.

    Looks great,
But does it work for the uk too?

and how many people are ready to buy while surfing on facebook, or is it long term investment to get surfer to get to know you?

    • steve:

Unfortunately, no UK data at this time. Maybe in the future.

Facebook ads are getting a lot of attention and many people are succeeding with them, but they won’t work for all markets. To find out more if FB ads are right for you, go to: http://isfacebookforme.com/

  • Great product! I am sorry you still do not have data for the rest of the world.. As soon as you do..please let me know.
    Thanks, Joe

  • Jk:

As the actress said to the bishop … What a great tool…:)

How do you then import that to Facebook? Or do you still have to manually select their interests in their very clunky tool?

    • This tool does the heavy research work for you (including trends, demographics, fan pages and groups) quickly and easily — with more results than working inside Facebook’s Ad Manager. Once you’ve narrowed your best Facebook ad keywords, you’ll still need to enter them manually into Facebook and select the demographics/interest options. However, the bulk of your research happens outside of Facebook, a big plus.

  • Excellent addition to Cash Keywords, Steve.
This is going to make setting up campaigns for my clients so much faster!
Looking forward to more upgrades like this.

    Thanks,
    Brett

  • Brian Fanale:

    Killer tool!

Thanks guys, this is awesome and very cutting edge. This will provide a ton more terms for advertisers. It’s an absolute GOLDMINE out there on fb right now!

    Thx again!

  • This is mind blowing. A lot easier than going through your ABC’s — like you showed a couple weeks back.

    Thanks for thinking ahead!

    • Yes, not to mention numbers, too. The Facebook ad tool also displays keyword phrases in reverse order as well, if they show up in Facebook’s system.

  • Wow, I’m really looking forward to putting this to use!

Totally awesome that you guys came up with this.

    Thank you!

    Susanna

  • Trevor Chilton:

You have got to be kidding with all the keyword tools out there I don’t see what here would cause me to pay you $67 a month. I was born at night it just was not last night!

    • steve:

      Trevor,

Besides the diversity of unique keyword tools provided (not to mention more on the way), a keyword database is also included that is very similar to IMEye (which sells for $197/month). Just to add a little perspective…

      Steve

  • Looks really useful – have just started using Facebook to generate leads for our website and could do with a tool like this.

    Thanks

  • Are you recommending all the keywords be lumped together in one FB campaign or should each keyword have its own separate campaign?

    • Hi Eddie,

How you want to use the keyword results is up to you. It may depend on the niche you’re in and how many related keywords and keyword variations you find using the FB tool. The FB tool does not work inside the FB ad manager, but you can export the keyword results in a .csv (Excel) file.

      HTH, Roxanne

    • steve:

      Eddie,

This will also depend on how fine grained you want your campaigns to be. For example, let’s say you were advertising on golf clubs and used golf clubs. You could lump them into one campaign. However, it would be better to put each into its own campaign so that each one’s ad(s) can closely relate to its corresponding keyword. This is similar to Google AdWords campaign/ad group structuring. This becomes a judgment call for each advertiser, which depends on the market, keywords, granularity, etc. Also, I’m not saying each keyword needs its own campaign. Just make sure a keyword is relevant to the others and the ad being displayed.

      Steve

  • That facebook tool looks like it works pretty good. I’m anxious to try it out. Did you say in the video that it also searches through the fan pages as well?
    Thanks,
    AJ

    • Hi AJ!

This tool doesn’t search fanpages, but we’re getting ready to add a second FB tool that does search FB Fanpages and Groups very soon. Check back to see it or sign up for our e-mail updates so you don’t miss the release.

All current CK Pro customers automatically get the new tool releases as we add them.

      Glad you like it!
