For these types of terms, Google clearly prefers to rank articles, how-to social sites and YouTube videos really well. Therefore, this presents a new approach for many marketers who are looking for an easier way to get a high ranking in Google for popular search terms. OK… a few points to make regarding this video:
1. “How to” search terms and related high ranking articles do not work for all markets. In many markets this tactic won’t apply. But I have seen a lot of opportunities for affiliate marketers, which you should also get a glimpse of in this video.
2. Nothing is for free. You still need to use your brain and contribute something valuable to the internet to get results (i.e., backlinks). Again, we’re not into spinning, spamming or splogging. We follow the tactics used by the ‘big SEO guys’ like Dan Thies and Leslie Rhode (known from Stompernet). This will get you more long-term mileage with Google. And again, we’ll be providing more tools to make this a bit easier.
3. If you understand #2, then nofollow won’t be as big of a concern since adding valuable comments on higher PR blogs/sites will still get you visibility, often resulting in click-thrus, meaning more article views.
4. Getting article views is key since it could land you on Ezine Article’s “most viewed” list within a certain category, creating a lot of additional internal links to your article. Search engines like these.

Hey, if anyone has been following Andy Jenkins’ video boss launch (excellent pre-launch videos for video marketing), you’ll notice that video 3 mirrors a bit of what I said in today’s video (e.g., question related searches, high rankings, backlinks), though his video applies to getting videos to rank well.
Also, his backlink building tactics are similar, and again we’ll be providing tools to do them faster and easier.
